Chase Freedom Bonus Categories 2nd Quarter 2012
It’s activation time again folks! If you have the Chase Freedom card, use this link to activate your 5% cash back. From April 1 – June 30, 2012, you’ll receive 5 Ultimate Rewards points for every dollar spent on Groceries & Movie Theaters (up to $1,500 spent). Nothing great at first glance, but if your grocery sells gift cards to anywhere you shop, now would be the time to stock up – iTunes, Amazon, etc. Just a word of caution, wholesale stores like Costco and BJ’s do not usually post as groceries to most banks.
Also, don’t forget to finish up your Q1 spending on Amazon.com & Gas Stations. I have a long drive every day and love shopping at Amazon so I’ve spent up the $1,500 limit weeks ago. Make sure you don’t leave any bonus points on the table! You have until March 31.
If you don’t have the Chase Freedom card, consider applying for one because it’s a nice compliment to the all-powerful Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card. These bonus categories can earn you up to 7,500 extra UR points per quarter and the card doesn’t carry an annual fee. I believe the best public offer for the card is receiving 20k UR points after spending $500 in the first 3 months. I’m not out for referral bonuses so I won’t link anything here. You can probably find a link by searching “chase freedom 200″ on Google.
