From Midtown Atlanta, Joann and I hopped on the MARTA for our 30 minute ride back to Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Again, Midtown is a great spot to be in for food, restaurants, and stuff to see. Pair that with a cheap ($2.50) and traffic-less ride to/from the airport, and you’ve got a winner.
We cleared security quickly and hung out at the Delta Sky Club in Concourse B. It’s not my favorite one (Concourse C) but there were a lot of power outlets and free Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat so that’s all a guy can really ask for. Thankfully, the flight went wheels up on time and we got to enjoy a nice sunset on the way home. Of course, I used Gogo Inflight to stay connected and write some blog posts. I’ll be doing another Gogo coupon giveaway shortly so stay tuned!
All in all, this was a great trip for minimal cash out of pocket. It was nice to see what Atlanta had to offer; I think it’s a nice city to stop by for a few nights while en route to bigger cities. As for New Orleans, it’s definitely on the return list. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back with some friends.
