Pitney Bowes 4,500 Chase UR Points Posted!

This is a follow up on another great deal through Chase Ultimate Rewards Mall. The Points Guy posted about earning 4,500 UR points from ordering a mailing machine from Pitney Bowes. You only get charged $10.69 for the trial period of 60 days. If you return the machine within that period, you will not be charged anything else. The only other expensive comes from shipping back the machine, which is probably fairly heavy; I will update that info when my machine arrives.

UPDATE: The box came today after work and it measures 17 x 15 x 14 inches. It weighs 13 lbs. You would return it to Whitestown, IN 46075. FedEx estimates that to be $10.21 via Ground from me (NJ).

Well, my 4,500 points just showed up in my UR earning activity! I will wait until the points actually post to my account on my next statement close and then I will mail back the machine and cancel the free trial. All in all, it is not as cheap (read: free) as the Stamps.com offer, but 4,500 points for $20-40 is a great deal since these Chase UR points are very valuable to me.

My big concern is the cost of returning it. I know you’re waiting for the machine, but any sense of the cost of what return shipping is gonna be?

i spoke to a representative and they claim that return postage will be paid by them and the postage left over can be returned at any USPS

Please update us through the steps of getting this returned. Also, don’t we get the 9.99 shipping charge refunded as well? How do we get refund on the $30 postage?

Sleezy factor on this deal: 4 out of 5

They said my shipping address was invalid and I got the 4,500 points completely for free.
